Join Small Producers Initiative & Understanding Ag at an inspiring, family-run pastured poultry operation in the process of expanding their locally-based direct sales business. We will tour the operation and learn how they are incorporating ruminants (sheep) for ecosystem & soil health and focus on business and marketing practices to increase on-farm revenues. Understanding Ag consultant John Hays will share his expertise in helping a wide array of agricultural operations improve their bottom line.
